Let me introduce myself! My name is Gina Ratliffe, I'm a success and life coach and I live in Santa Monica, California.

About 4 years ago I started on the entrepreneurial path. I was a psychotherapist managing a clinic of 20 therapists.

I was 30 years old, living at home, (even though I had earned my Master's degree in clinical psychology), and worked 80 hours a week "helping people". I decided to leave the field of psychotherapy and awaken my entrepreneurial spirit by starting my own coaching practice. AHHH...only me to be responsible for! This is the good life, or so I thought. It was great because I freed up tons of time and switched to working with clients who really appreciated me AND wanted to advance their lives. And even though I raised my rates significantly, ONLY selling coaching packages had my income really go UP and DOWN. One month I’d get a big client, and I’d pay down my bills. The next month I was in the hole once more, charging groceries, dodging creditor calls, losing sleep, and wondering how to pay rent the next month.

My last straw was a total breakdown of CRYING when I worried about how to pay my bills AGAIN and, worse, I started to hate "helping" people once again. Don't get me wrong, I do LOVE to help others, it's just that at that time I gave and gave and yet wasn't supported on a consistent basis. Something had to change. I thought I'd just have to go and "get a job". This was TOO HARD… there had to be a better way!”

My friends saw me as a smart young woman who seemed to have everything it takes to succeed, but was stuck between a rock and a hard place. I was working hard and doing all the things you think you’re supposed to do in a business.
